Lockport Union-Sun & Journal: Booster groups win shares of ‘enhancement’ pot

Nineteen non-profit booster groups, including three in Lockport, are receiving grants from the William G. Mayne Jr. Business/Community Enhancement program this year. The program, funded by the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission and administered by Niagara County, is investing $39,000 in commercial district beautification and promotion efforts around the county this year.
