Niagara USA Chamber Names Craig Turner Interim Executive Director

Niagara Falls, NY (March 3) – The Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has appointed Craig Turner as Interim Executive Director, effective March 1, 2025. Turner takes over from Kory Schuler, who stepped down in mid-February after nine years of leadership at the Chamber.

“I am incredibly excited to take on this role at such an important time for the Niagara USA Chamber,” said Turner. “Our members are the backbone of this organization, and my focus will be on energizing engagement, fostering growth, and strengthening our role as a hub for collaboration and community. We have an opportunity to build on the solid foundation that Kory and the board have created and ensure the Chamber is sustainable, innovative and forward-thinking for years to come.”

Turner is the president and founder of Momentum, which works with chambers of commerce across the country on strategic planning, member services, and AI-driven business solutions. With nearly two decades of experience in public policy and economic development, he previously served as Vice President of Government Affairs for the Buffalo Niagara Partnership (2006-2013) and President of World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara (2018-2023). Throughout his career, Turner has been a strong advocate for business growth, workforce development, and regional collaboration.

Turner has served on the Niagara USA Board of Directors since 2017, and as the board’s chair since the beginning of 2024 – he steps down from both roles to take the interim executive director role. At the Chamber’s Friday morning board meeting, Heidi Urban of Platter’s Chocolates was elected Chair of the Board of Directors.
