Niagara USA Chamber Announces New Board of Directors and Officers for 2024
Sanborn, NY – (January 26) – The Niagara USA Chamber, the leading voice for business in Niagara County, is proud to announce its new board for the year 2024. With a continued commitment to fostering a vibrant economic environment, the Chamber is excited to welcome new leadership and board members who will guide the organization through another successful year.
Leading the board in 2024, Craig Turner of Momentum – The Business Growth Agency, takes on the role of Board Chair. With his extensive experience and practical insights into the business community’s challenges and opportunities, Craig is well-positioned to guide the Chamber’s strategic direction. Joining him is Russell Petrozzi of Capitol Cleaners as Vice Chair, whose prior experience as Niagara USA Chair and in-depth knowledge of local business dynamics will be instrumental in supporting the Chamber’s objectives. Rocco Surace, CPA, of Bonadio Group, will oversee the Chamber’s finances as the new Treasurer, bringing a strong background in financial management to ensure fiscal responsibility. Julie Berrigan of Niagara County Community College brings great experience in the not-for-profit world into the role of Secretary. Lastly, Douglas Elia of Montante Construction moves into the position of Past Chair, where his experience and insights from his tenure as Chair will continue to benefit the Chamber.
The Chamber is also delighted to welcome five new board members: Nasreen “Naz” Akhtar from Naz716; Susan Brooks from Catholic Health; Lori Caso from Waste Management; James Smyth from Mid-City Office Furniture; Heidi Urban from Platters Chocolate Factory. and. Their diverse backgrounds and dedication to the community will be invaluable assets to the Chamber’s initiatives.
“Our new board is a testament to Niagara USA’s commitment to representation from a variety of business sectors, ensuring a comprehensive approach to economic development and advocacy,” said Niagara USA executive director Kory Schuler. “This dynamic team is set to lead the Chamber in its mission to support the largest and smallest of Niagara County’s companies, and contribute to our county’s economic prosperity.”
