Niagara USA Chamber and Niagara Falls School District Launch Business Education Collaboration
The new collaboration will match private sector experts from among the chamber’s membership with programming needs at Niagara Falls High School
Niagara Falls, NY – [August 2] – The Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce and the Niagara Falls School District are proud to announce the launch of the Niagara USA Business Education Initiative. This collaborative effort aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical business experience for high school students, enriching their education with firsthand insights from local business professionals.
The program is designed to enhance the existing business curriculum by providing Niagara Falls High School students with real-world perspectives on various business topics. Chamber members will share their expertise in areas such as finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, management, technology, networking, project management, soft skills, customer service and others.
“We are incredibly excited about this initiative,” said Kory Schuler, Executive Director of the Niagara USA Chamber. “By connecting our business community with the educational system, we are not only investing in the future leaders of our community but also fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. This program is a testament to the strong partnership between the chamber and the school district, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the students.”
The initiative will include the recruitment of a roster of professional speakers from among Niagara USA Chamber members, who will be thoroughly vetted and trained to engage and educate young audiences effectively. Educators will work closely with these speakers to select topics that align with and enhance the existing curriculum, ensuring minimal disruption to the school schedule and maximum impact on the students.
