at the forefront of the chamber’s advocacy work this year
Sanborn, NY – (January 25) – The Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce, the leading advocate for the business community in Niagara County, today announced its comprehensive Advocacy Agenda for 2024. The Chamber unveiled the agenda to attendees of an event this morning at Wurlitzer Events in North Tonawanda, featuring guest speaker, New York State Assemblyman Angelo Morinello.
The 2024 Advocacy Agenda, meticulously constructed by the Chamber’s Advocacy Committee, is driven by principles that have been carefully crafted in collaboration with its members. This strategic approach ensures that the Chamber is prepared to respond promptly to emerging issues while continuing to work on long-term initiatives.
Kory Schuler, Executive Director of the Niagara USA Chamber, emphasizes the unique structure of this year’s agenda: “Our Advocacy Agenda for 2024 is shaped by a format that aligns with our core principles and is built by our dedicated members. This approach enables us to tackle immediate challenges efficiently while dedicating necessary resources to longer-term projects. We believe that by following these guiding principles, we can provide clear direction in our advocacy efforts, ensuring that Niagara County not only maintains but also enhances its position as a great place to live and do business.”
Health care emerges as the top priority for 2024. The Chamber will advocate for a robust health care system in Niagara County, ensuring residents have access to exceptional health services. This is vital not only for the well-being of the community but also for attracting and retaining top-tier business leaders and workforce talent.
