NYPA “EGGSTRAVAGANZA” RETURNS TO POWER VISTA APRIL 5
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LEWISTON—The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will hold its annual “Eggstravaganza”—featuring free photos with Bunny—on April 5 at its admission-free Power Vista, the visitors center for the Niagara Hydroelectric Power Plant, located at 5777 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, NY.
Activities will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include photos (until 2 p.m.), a scavenger hunt, food sold by Boy Scout Troop #855 of Lewiston, crafts with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and face painting by members of the Lockport YMCA Teen Leaders group.
New York Masonic Safety ID Program representatives will issue free Safety ID packets to interested parents, guardians, college students and seniors. The package will include a personalized compact disc with a digital photograph, fingerprints and other vital statistics for the individual, an invaluable aid to law enforcement in a search for a missing loved one.
State Parks will also provide free rides on its Niagara Scenic Trolley, between the Power Vista and the Gorge Discovery Center.
Guests are also invited to enjoy the Power Vista’s attractions, which include displays and interactive exhibits on the production of electricity, energy efficiency and area history, as well as spectacular views from the observation deck, 350 feet above the Niagara River Gorge.
Admission and parking at the Power Vista are always free.
