Purpose

To celebrate new openings, expansions, relocations, or rebrands of member businesses while showcasing the positive
impact of small business on Niagara County.

Standard Chamber Support (included)

What the Chamber Provides Details & Timing
Event Coordination Confirm date/time ≥ 3 weeks out
Invitations to Dignitaries Email/phone outreach to appropriate elected officials & partners
Media Advisory One-page advisory sent 10–14 days out; reminder morning of event.
Ceremonial Materials Ribbon (≈ 12–15 ft), 36-inch gold scissors.
On-Site Representative Chamber staffer/ambassador arrives 30 min early, greets guests, coordinates photo moment.

Optional Services (request when booking)

  • Run-of-Show & Emcee : 5-min welcome → remarks → ribbon cut → photos → networking (Chamber staff can script & lead).
  • Press Release Draft : Post-event release with quotes & high-res photo sent to media and member.

Member Responsibilities

2 Weeks Out : Chamber sends invites & media advisory · Draft run-of-show if requested.

1 Week Out : Final headcount · Social media push (member & Chamber).

Day Of : Chamber rep arrives 30 min early with ribbon & scissors · Conduct ceremony & photos.

Next Day : Optional press release distributed · Share photos on social.
