Niagara USA Chamber President Named to Power Board
Governor Andrew Cuomo has appointed Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Deanna Alterio Brennen to the Power Proceeds Allocation Board. The five member Proceeds Board will have the ability to use funds from unused New York Power Authority power allocations for economic development throughout Western New York. Mrs. Alterio Brennen will serve a five year term. “This is a great honor,” stated Alterio Brennen. “I feel my tenure as the head of such a strong business advocacy organization as the Chamber as well my experience as a member of the Niagara County IDA board, the Western New York Regional Development Council, the Greater Niagara Manufacturing Association and many other economic and development committees will serve me well on this board.” Two other members of the board were appointed by the Governor and one each from the Senate and Assembly.
